The Creative Sanctuary is a dream of mine that I hope inspires and excites my customers every time they visit the website, blog or our first knitting and sewing shop in Hertford!

We stock a whole range of fantastic yarns from 2 ply up to super chunky wool from top designers such as the Debbie Bliss's knitting range, Erika Knight's Maxi Wool, a yarn comparable to Rowan's Big Wool and Louisa Hardings 100% cotton yarn Jesse. We also stock needles from 2mm to 20mm such as the Knit-Pro wooden knitting needles and accesories along with a full selection of Pony plastic needles and children's knitting needles.

As an independent shop we are very keen to support other British independant crafters and carry a number of items that are sourced and made in the UK.  We have felting wool kits and gifts from Gilliangladrag, beautiful notepads, craft stickers and temporary tatoos from Nottingham independant Kate Broughton, a very talented designer/maker who uses wildlife as an influence in her work and we stock many other items by local Hertfordshire crafters.

Our range of fabric is seasonal so always evolving and changing, we have polyester/cotton mixes from Moda, along with Jelly Rolls, Layer Cakes and fat quarters from Micheal Miller, Riley Blake and other designers.
